The Tudor Grange Hotel is the most historic hotel in Bournemouth. Parts of the Tudor Grange date back to the 16th Century, when it was built in the Shires for a Tudor nobleman. In 1927 the Grange was carefully transported down to the South Coast and lovingly reconstructed in extensive grounds in Bournemouth on the East Cliff’s premier tree-lined road, a few yards from the East Cliff lift and ideally situated for enjoying the many shops, entertainments and gardens which make Bournemouth the UK’s Premier Resort.
Elegance and luxury speak of a splendour enjoyed down the centuries - mullioned windows, oak panelled walls and ornate ceilings embellished with gold Tudor Roses. A magnificent stained glass window illuminates the 300 year old "William and Mary" main stairway.
The Tudor Grange Hotel, which is licensed for marriages, provides the perfect setting for weddings. For the wedding night, or any romantic break, we offer the beautiful “William and Mary” room, complete with kingsize four poster bed, dressing room, double ended luxury bath and “Romeo and Juliet” balcony overlooking the garden.
Unlike other hotels on the East Cliff, the Tudor Grange has only 11 bedrooms, all en-suite, and so our staff can concentrate on making every guest feel special. Similarly, your family event or business conference will be the focus of our attention, and you will receive every consideration. The long established Tudor Grange has an excellent reputation for Quality and Value, and is a favourite hotel of Bournemouth Tourism.
